10/23/04
Time for another update. For those of you who may not know, we
are heading back to China to adopt a sister for Lily. We are so
excited. We started the paper work a few months ago, so will keep
you posted of our progress. We found out that they increased the
amount of space the site can hold by 5 times, so we've
uploaded a bunch of photos and a few video clips as well in the
April to October 2004
gallery.
04/04/04
 It
has been some time since the last update as we have been busy
buying, fixing up, moving, and touching up our new home. We
especially want to thank Rose and Shawn for all there help in this
endeavor - we couldn't have done it without their help. Lily is
doing great and enjoying life to the fullest. She gives us joy
everyday. Since it has been so long since the last update we must
add a huge gallery. We promise the next update will not take so
long. The 40 new images are in the
September 2003
to March 2004 gallery.
08/17/03
 Lily
is really starting to develop some personality. She is assertive yet
very compassionate. She loves to have fun. She is getting a grip on
speaking now, and is speaking small sentences. Lily can repeat the
alphabet, count (but she counts better in Chinese), and she knows a
few colors. She knows some opposites, cold - hot, up - down, big -
little. And man is she tough and strong. Check out the latest

It's been a few months since we've done an update, so we just
added a huge gallery of 45 pictures. From
March to May
2003.
03/02/03
Added a few more pictures from the last month in the
Feb 2003 gallery.
02/26/03 -
A bunch of great photos in the
Xmas - Jan 2003
gallery update. Highlights include a visit to cousins down south
and the Chinese New Year celebration. Carol and I really love our
digital camera, we keep the good, print the best, then delete the
rest.
12/29/02 - Back by popular demand the getting Lily clip (12 MB).
Sorry, this is clip is to big, I had to remove it from the server
for now.
11/26/02 - Added a bunch of pictures using our new digital
camera.
Lily has been walking for 2 or 3 weeks now, and doing quite well
at it. She is learning quick. She can say a few words such as: Mama,
dada, cat, duck, bye-bye, doll, tree, and no-no. This is pretty good
when you consider she heard no or little English prior to mid
August. I've placed the new pictures under galleries under
Lily & Vegas
Nov 2002.
One cool thing I can do with the new camera is take panoramic
pictures like the one below. See the 2MB full size image by clicking

This update is for Xiangyi - 10/26/02
Lily took her first step last weekend.
Yesterday, just 5 days after her first step, she took five steps in
a row. She is standing up by herself a lot now. I guess it won't be
long until we are chasing her around. She is a real entertainer as
well. When we say "Make a silly face" she makes this
silly face.
She gets great joy out of doing this in front of others, even
strangers out in public. Also, we added the
Lily at home 2 gallery.
I also changed the format of the getting
Lily clip from Real Media to MPEG.
